Gunther Verheyen
Gunther ventured into IT and software development after graduating in 1992. His Agile journey started with eXtreme Programming and Scrum in 2003. Years of dedication followed, of using Scrum in diverse circumstances. As from 2010 Gunther became the inspiring force behind some large-scale enterprise transformations. Gunther left consulting in 2013 to partner with Ken Schwaber, Scrum co-creator, at Scrum.org. He shepherded the ‘Professional Scrum’ series, worked with Scrum.org’s global network of Professional Scrum Trainers, and co-created the Agility Path and the Nexus framework for Scaled Professional Scrum. Gunther left Scrum.org in 2016 to continue his journey of Scrum as an independent Scrum caretaker and Professional Scrum Trainer. In 2013 Gunther published his much-praised book “Scrum – A Pocket Guide (a smart travel companion)”, by Ken Schwaber recommended as ‘the best description of Scrum currently available’ and ‘an extraordinarily competent book’.
Colm O’hEocha (AgileInnovation)
With nearly 30 years in software development, Colm has been applying agile and lean approaches for 15 of those. As a trainer, coach and consultant, he has supported large scale lean/agile adoptions in over 40 organisations across ICT, Finance and Telecoms. Colm is founder and principle of AgileInnovation – his company name reflects his research into the interplay of agile and lean development approaches with product and process innovation. Colm has extensive hands-on experience of agile in the development of enterprise systems, embedded software, and high-innovation research environments. His training includes Agile/Lean for Executives, ScrumMaster, Product Owner, Portfolio Management and Lean/Kanban software development. Fran O'Hara (Inspire Quality Services)
Fran has 30 years experience in the software industry having worked in development, test, management and consulting. Fran specialises in pragmatic approaches to lean/agile, software process improvement, quality/testing, and associated practices. For the last 8 years, his main focus has been providing agile/lean coaching, training and support to organizations transitioning to agile. He is a regular speaker at international conferences and seminars. Fran is a Certified/Professional ScrumMaster, Professional Product Owner, an ISTQB testing tutor at advanced level, a CMMI lead assessor, a fellow of the Irish Computer Society, a director of the TMMi Foundation, a member of the Irish Software Testing Board (ISTQB) and co-founder of the Irish SIG in Software Testing - SoftTest.
Jonathan Coyle (Murex)
Jonathan joined Murex in 2005 and worked in client services before making the switch to product management. For the last number of years, Jonathan has implementing agile practices across a number of teams & product lines, as well as experimenting with standardizing of agile frameworks for simplified deployment.
Kevin Burke (Equip for Success Consulting)
Kevin(CSM, CSPO, CSP) started out his career as a Software Developer before becoming a Scrum Master for a distributed Agile Team. As a Scrum Master Kevin lead process improvements within his team and championed organization change initiatives. He’s currently working as an Agile Coach in the Financial Services Industry and is focused on large scale organisational adoption. This includes delivering training courses and workshops, creating change initiatives and partnering with leadership to accelerate the adoption.
Tony Hetherington (Globoforce)
Tony is a Scrum Master working with two of the Scrum Teams in Globoforce and also facilitates the regular Scrum Master Community of Practise meetings within the company. Coming from a project management background with over 20 years experience he has worked as a Product Owner and Scrum Master in the Publishing, Media, e-Commerce and Professional Services industries. Having also led the adoption of agile practises with some companies he is a firm believer that Scrum and Agile is not something that should be limited to software development.
Brendan O'Reilly (Daysha)
Brendan O Reilly is MD at Daysha Consulting a leading IT Services and DevOps solutions business. He started his career at HP and went on to found 3 different software product and services business since 1985. He has always been involved with leading edge technology tools and processes.
Claudio Perrone
Claudio Perrone brings models, experience and options to help ambitious companies move fast, learn faster, and thrive in today's global marketplace. He is a well-known Lean & Agile management consultant, entrepreneur and startup strategist, based in Dublin, Ireland. In his career, he has been playing key roles in Lean & Agile transformations for global organizations and fast-growing technology startups. He is a Fellow of the Lean Systems Society, author of A3 Thinker (a family of tools based on Toyota’s Lean management approach), and the inventor of PopcornFlow, a next-generation decision model to introduce personal, team and organizational change through ultra-rapid experimentation.
Vispi Shroff
Vispi is a passionate agilist with over a decade of experience in engendering Agile values & principles in teams and organisations. As an Agile Coach, trainer and facilitator, Vispi truly believes that bringing these values and principles into organisations can be a truly empowering experience for people and the answers we seek are to be found within ourselves, be it at an organisation, team or an individual level. Apart from CSM & CSP, Vispi is also an ICAgile Certified Professional for Agile Coaching & Agile Facilitation.

James Parnell
James has worked in IT & Banking for about 20 years, leading large teams to deliver innovative banking solutions. Most recently, James has worked on scaled agile digital programs - predominantly using SAFe. His role as program ‘Release Train Planner’ has seen him combine customer-centred design thinking, agile and portfolio prioritisation techniques devised to optimise program benefits and delivery. He has also played the role of agile coach. James like to ensure teams “do the right things” in addition to ‘doing things right’.
Chris Walsh (EMC)
Chris Walsh originally discovered Scrum in 2003 while trying to save a challenged project in Cadence Design Systems. He has spent each intervening year learning from all the mistakes he made the previous year, and trying to help teams use Agile and Lean approaches to creating a more human-friendly way of developing products in enterprise IT. Working for EMC when this bio was written, he hopes to be working for the newly integrated Dell Technologies organization at Agile Tour Dublin 2016.
Michelle Almeida (HMH)
Michelle is a passionate advocate for Agile, working predominately with Scrum teams, at Houghton Mifflin Harcourt, to help them create great digital educational products. As a Facilitator, Trainer and Coach she helps individuals and teams achieve their goals and deliver value. Michelle has championed “Putting the Fun back into Scrumming” through delivery of workshops and interactive training sessions. Michelle aims to inspire people to learn by doing and motivate them to change one thing when they return back to their Teams. Michelle previously worked at Ericsson, and has delivered workshops and training internationally including Austin, Boston, Stockholm, Sydney and Dublin.

Lisa Hickey (AIB)
Lisa Hickey has almost 10 years experience working in Agile Software Development Teams as a developer and in recent years as a Test Automation Engineer. Lisa is passionate about embedding quality into all stages of software delivery and implementing test automation frameworks that improve and validate the quality of software and reduce manual effort for testers.
Catherine Sweeney (D&B)
Prior to Dun and Bradstreet, Catherine was an IT Director for 3 years with Fidelity Investments. In this role she grew team capability and led agile DaaS delivery for a number of global agile teams across Ireland, India, China ad US. Previous to that Catherine spent 9 years with Lombard, RBS architecting and leading continuous business value delivery of innovative CRM and analytics solutions. These solutions supported new products enabling Financial Services business growth, operations optimisation, security and regulatory compliance. From early days in Allied Irish Bank as an analyst programmer, Catherine moved on to lead architecture and development teams in Esat/British Telecom scaling from start-up. She also spent 3 years from 2000 as CIO with a Central European telecoms start-up eTel scaling CRM, Billing, Financials and Analytics, always focused on value and rapid product to market delivery. Catherine embraced the lean/agile enterprise in 2011 as part of the NDRC Innovation Launchpad. Catherine has an MSc in Computer Applications, BSc Applied Maths Science from DCU and an ACCA Certified Diploma.
David Mc Grath (SQS)
David is a Principal Consultant with Software Quality Systems (SQS) and is currently the Head of SQS's Agile Enablement Service. Since joining SQS in 2014, he has supported various clients as the lead on Agile transformation programs. Whilst fulfilling various process analyst roles up to Director level, David's career has seen him lead or support change programs across numerous industries such as Financial Services, Telecommunications, Bio Technology, Digital Publishing and most recently Aviation. He is a Certified Six Sigma Black Belt, a Certified Scrum Master, a Certified Scrum Product Owner, a Certified Change Management Practitioner and holds a Bachelor's Degree in Business Studies from University College Dublin.​
Brendan O’Farrell (TSSG)
Brendan joined TSSG in 2015 as a software test engineer. He has over twenty years experience in the Home Automation Industry. His area of expertise in this industry comprise of , Project Management, Audio Visual System Design and Installation, System Testing and Administration. Brendan co-founded Grafton Audio Vision Ltd in 2005. A Waterford based company that provides home automation and Internet technology solutions to the residential market.
Patrice Boleguin (TSSG)
Patrice joined TSSG in 2015 as a senior software test engineer. He has over 10 years in manual and automated testing in the Life & Pension, Ad Tech and Mobile Security sectors. Patrice is also certified in ISEB, ISTQB and TMAP. He started his career as a software quality engineer in Sun Life. Previously to joining the TSSG, he worked for as a software test engineer in StitcherAds .
Augusto Evangelisti (Evangelisti Consulting Ltd)
Augusto “Gus” Evangelisti is a product development professional with over 20 years experience in many different industries where he has played just about every existing role, from developer to tester to analyst, product manager, test manager, and more recently agile/lean coach. During his agile lean journey, he discovered amazing people that helped him grow his understanding and passion for the subject. He has contributed to writing “More Agile Testing: Learning Journeys for the Whole Team” - Crispin, Gregory published by Addison-Wesley Signature Series (Cohn). His passion is learning and sharing his learning with others.
